The homes that house the Innercept intensive programs are set in rural, peaceful locations on acreage. While close to town for accessibility to services and college for example, the houses are remote enough to allow for less urban culture on site. The acreage helps facilitate walking paths, scenery, sports and connecting with nature.
The Intensive properties have ponds and fire pits for leisure and aesthetics, as well as locations for outdoor groups. The programs are equipped with outdoor barbecuing and furniture for eating outdoors, basketball and/or sport courts, gym equipment and sports equipment. Some have animals and barns on site, which are used to therapeutically relate to the resident’s experience.
The Transition homes are located in town with easy access to the library, resort, North Idaho College, arts and leisure activities and the lake.
