Ellen Jaeger, Ph.D.

Bio: Dr. Ellen Jaeger is a licensed psychologist specializing in children, adolescent, and family therapy. She currently provides individual and family therapy and psychological and educational evaluations at Innercept and at North Idaho Behavioral Health, a division of Kootenai Medical Center, where she retains hospital privileges. Dr. Jaeger has extensive experience both in private practice and in public schools. She is a certified school psychologist and certified school counselor, receiving her training at all levels of the educational system. Dr. Jaeger specializes in treatment for Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Eating Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Additionally, she works with children and adolescents who have experienced school refusal, conflicts within their environments, sexual abuse, divorce and death. 

 
Dr. Jaeger received her doctorate degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Idaho. She conducted research on bullies and victims for her doctoral dissertation and presentation. Additionally, she achieved degrees including a Master’s Specialist degree in School Psychology, Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Services, and Bachelor of Science degree in Management Technology. Dr. Jaeger has taught classes at the University of Idaho in counseling and education. She received training in the education and development of parenting classes from the Love and Logic institute in Colorado. She has conducted workshops for the Coeur d’Alene School District and taught parenting classes at Kootenai Medical Center in Love and Logic techniques and behavioral management and skills.
