Margret Hayes, R.N.C. Program Director Bio: Ms. Hayes is a Registered Nurse, Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. She has 21 years of experience in this field. Ms. Hayes is originally from New Jersey and attended school at Cumberland County College and Widener University. She has worked diverse areas in Nursing, including the Medical Surgical setting and Geriatric Long Term Care. She then spent four years doing Home Hospice Care and became one of the first nurses in the state to become certified in Hospice Nursing and Palliative Care. She spent 5 years in the state of New Jersey as the Head Nurse of a Residential Treatment Center for adolescents. There, she was a member of their multidisciplinary treatment team and was also named the representative of the facility to be a member of the State Utilization Review Committee. She staffed the various locations and created treatment plans as well as oversight of all licensing issues and their Risk Management Program. Ms. Hayes came to Innercept in 2007 and originally was the Clinical Director for the Young Adult Intensive Program. At this time, she is the Program Director for all locations and works closely with the Program Coordinators at each site. Ms. Hayes lives in the Sandpoint area and enjoys travel, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Responsibilities: Margaret is responsible for the oversight of all program schedules and staffing for those programs. She engages in periodic reviews of program schedules and pursuit of opportunities to improve quality. She also monitors the individual sites for adherence to program values and safety in the environment. Margaret is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, and acts as liaison with the clinical director for arranging ongoing staff training and quality assurance in the milieu. With the team, she reviews all potential admissions, transfers and discharges. Coordination of all transportation needs and appropriate use of equipment, as well as oversight of program reports with parents and educational consultants, and follow-up of insurance reviews as indicated, are within her scope of duties.
