Dan Hanks, B.S. Young Adult Program Coordinator Bio: Bio: Mr. Hanks received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho. Mr. Hanks started his career in residential treatment by completing an internship at Port of Hope a chemical dependency rehabilitation program. Since working with Innercept, Mr. Hanks has held positions as Program Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator for the Young Adult Transition Program. Mr. Hanks has also, worked with young children doing Psycho-Social Rehabilitation with children between the ages of four and thirteen. Dan Hanks has been an enthusiastic leader in regard to the physical health components of the Innercept programs. He teaches some of the health education classes and participates in many of the active outings such as sailing, snowboarding/skiing trips, bike rides, hikes, etc. Dan’s creativity helps him build rapport with the residents while advocating for them and garnering their respect. Responsibilities: With Innercept, Mr. Hanks coordinates the implementation of program schedules and treatment plans for the Young Adult Intensive Program. He manages the program resources and oversees the program environments. He shares in the case management duties, including weekly family updates, Education Consultant updates and insurance reviews as necessary. As a coordinator, he provides administrative support and coverage for other Program Coordinators and participates with the Program Director in identifying staff performance issues and reviews. Mr. Hanks is involved in leadership of the implementation of Integral Psychology principles with residents and staff. He coordinates the physical fitness education component for the Adolescent Intensive, Young Adult Intensive, and Young Adult Transition programs. |
